This onsite role expects primarily working from an HPE office.

The Director works to strengthen the Hybrid Cloud Finance organization—helping teams focus on high‑value work, simplify ways of working, and build scalable practices that support business growth.

• Lead Finance Strategy & Prioritization

  Partner with Finance leadership to define and execute the BU Finance strategic roadmap, establish a rigorous prioritization framework, and provide visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.

• Enable Modernization & Continuous Improvement

  Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and digital capabilities, build improvement initiatives with clear business cases, milestones, and change plans, and act as a catalyst for modernization across the Finance organization.

• Create a Consistent Finance Operating Model

  Standardize processes, tools, reporting, templates, and ways of working; establish governance mechanisms and drive simplification efforts to reduce complexity and improve scalability.

• Enhance Business Partnership & Decision Support

  Partner cross‑functionally with Business Unit leaders, FP&A, Finance Digital Transformation, and Corporate Strategy to deliver high‑quality, repeatable Finance outputs and support decision making.

• Optimize overall business outcomes
• Simplify complexity and create clarity
• Build alignment across diverse stakeholders
• Balance strategic vision with disciplined execution
• Inspire a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement

• 10+ years’ experience in Finance, Strategy, Consulting, Operating Effectiveness, or Business Operations
• Proven track record leading cross‑functional initiatives that improve clarity, consistency, scalability, and business impact
• Experience driving operating model design, process simplification, and organizational effectiveness initiatives
• Strong strategic planning, change management, and program leadership capabilities
• Experience influencing senior executives and operating effectively in matrix organizations

• Create a clear Hybrid Cloud Finance strategy and operating effectiveness roadmap
• Standardize core Finance processes, governance, and outputs
• Improve consistency and quality of Finance support across the organization
• Drive measurable productivity gains through simplification, automation, and AI
