Part-time Non-Regular position
Primary days of operations:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Provides support by performing the following duties at The Woodlands Township Adventure Course. Ensures a safe visitor experience and provides excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Welcome and assist visitors or direct them to the appropriate staff member, including fitting customers with harnesses, helmets and other required gear.
- Provide on course assistance to customers, including addressing questions/fears, spotting gear issues, and assisting customers off the course if unable to continue.
- Answer phones, respond to routine questions or direct calls to appropriate staff members, and take messages as needed.
- Perform cash handling duties: make change, input fees and issue receipts, record amounts received and prepare transaction reports using computer software.
- Monitor users of the Adventure Course to ensure orderly conduct and compliance with Course rules and regulations.
- Assist Course users in their Adventure Course experience, including rescues, guiding them through difficult obstacles, managing users and the flow of course traffic.
- Provide information on programs, activities and events in person or by phone.
- Provide general clerical support including typing, filing and copying.
- Utilize company software to enroll customers in programs.
- Receive and issue recreation equipment (helmets, harnesses, carabiners, etc.) and supplies.
- Input data into computer for registration process.
- Perform facility opening and closing procedures, ensuring the facility is secure and ready for the next day’s operation.
- Assist with Course programs, activities, special projects and events as required.
- Must be comfortable climbing and working at heights of up to 50 ft.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This position is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to random drug testing.

EducationHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
ExperienceOne (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licenses And Certifications- Must possess a Texas driver’s license within the first ninety (90) days of employment and meet the driver safety policy requirements.
- Obtain course specific training Level I Certification from ACCT (Association of Challenge Course Technology) within three months of employment.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Pre-employment RequirementsPass pre-employment drug screening, pass background check, and be an eligible status on Motor Vehicle Report.
