Responsibilities

Main lobby operations – check‑ins, check‑outs, guest visits and tours, answering general questions
Answering and handling calls in a professional manner
Maintaining cleanliness
Scheduling
File maintenance
Data entry

Qualifications & Skills

Love of animals
Professional manner at all times
Ability to work evenings, weekends & holidays
Lift/carry 40 pounds or more
Stand/walk for eight hours a day
Work in a fast‑paced environment
Work on a computer system
Handle dogs on leashes and work in an environment with exposure to disinfectants, sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions

Essential Job Functions

Welcome both human and pet guests
Identify animal body language/behavior correctly
Follow safe handling procedures
Check in and out pet guests while providing excellent customer service
Escort pets to and from their rooms
Takes reservations over the phone
Work individually and as a team player while performing duties
Contribute to maintaining the cleanliness of the facility
Communicate with management and other team members

Required Education

High School Graduate or Equivalent
At least 1 year of professional animal experience

The hourly pay range for this position is $13.00. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Eligible employees may also participate in company-sponsored benefits and incentive programs.
