Responsibilities- Guide clients through the furniture visioning, selection, and procurement process.
- Facilitate discussions, tours, and educational sessions focused on furniture solutions.
- Support clients with furniture planning, finish selections, and solution recommendations.
- Produce FF&E drawings, layouts, plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Develop material palettes, imagery, and furniture-focused design presentations.
- Ensure furniture solutions are fully integrated and coordinated with architectural and consultant documentation.
- Prepare specification documentation and support vendor communication, delivery tracking, and installation coordination.
- Participate in in-field quality reviews, punch lists development, and post installation support.
- Collaborate with the project teams, including the Client Leaders, Interior Design, and the Architectural Technical and Design teams to align FF&E with project phasing, design intent, and technical requirements.
- Maintain furniture and material libraries, participate in vendor presentations and product research meetings.
- Provide FF&E coordination support with consultants, including electrical, technology, and mechanical teams.
- Serve as a creative and technical resource, contributing innovative and effective furniture solutions.
- Support marketing and business development efforts by providing furniture expertise and promoting furniture-related services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- 3–7 years of professional experience in commercial interior design, FF&E, and/or furniture planning; supervisory experience preferred.
- Actively pursuing NCIDQ certification and/or holding relevant licensure.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and client-facing skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, with strong analytical and critical-thinking capabilities, and ability to handle multiple projects at a time.
- Proficiency in Revit (BIM), Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and FF&E specification tools such as Spec Sources.
- Experience with 3D visualization and advanced rendering tools; furniture planning and specification expertise preferred.
