Medical Director - Physiatrist

As a Medical Director at Common Spirit Houston
- Rehabilitation Hospital, you will be a valued member of the Lifepoint Health team providing medical leadership for a new rehabilitation facility in Spring, Texas. You will collaborate with the CEO and clinical team to ensure medical direction conforms to facility policies, state and federal laws, CMS, and The Joint Commission standards. You will have access to the staff, resources, and technologies needed to make a meaningful impact on patient care while enjoying a collaborative and flexible work environment.

Practice Info

• 40-bed, 58,000 square foot free-standing rehabilitation hospital located on the campus of St. Luke's Health
  - Springwoods Village Hospital in Spring, Texas
• Provides comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services for adults recovering from stroke, neurological disease, brain or spinal cord injuries, orthopedic procedures and other debilitating illnesses or injuries
• Facility features multidisciplinary therapy gymnasiums, a specialized activities of daily living suite, and outdoor courtyards
• Lifepoint Rehabilitation will manage day-to-day operations upon the facility's opening in summer 2027

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CEO and the entire clinical team to provide medical direction in conformance with the facility's policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and The Joint Commission
