Summer School Cooking Teacher

Job description:

Join LIFT Enrichment and teach healthy culinary workshops in Title I school districts. We’ve taught over 75,000 students since 2010 and are looking for passionate individuals to join our team of 200+ Chef Teachers.

• Rewarding Work:Help students in Title 1 school districts learn essential life skills.
• Great Pay:We compensate for grocery shopping, prep, teaching, and cleanup.
• Single Workshop:approximately 3.5 hours pay.
• Double Workshop:approximately 5 hours pay.

• Availability:Monday-Friday, 11:30 AM – 3:0 AM (2-3 days per week)
• Experience working with kids:i.e. summer camp counselor, retired teacher, etc.
• Experience cooking:i.e. basic meals (no formal or professional chef experience is required)
• Logistics:Must have reliable transportation.
• Operations:Lead groups of 15–20 students, transport provided culinary kits, and teach fun recipes from our curriculum like: i.e. Black Bean Quesadillas and Crispy Chicken Tenders.

Note:This is a Seasonal/Part-Time Employment, perfect for retired teachers or college students. .

• Perks:Paid training and mileage reimbursement.
• Rate: $25/hr
