What role you will play in our team- Support efforts to improve product performance through various testing and evaluation activities.
- Contribute to developing solutions that align with customer requirements and industry expectations.
- Perform laboratory testing and sample preparation techniques on finished lubricant products and components.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Support the setup and execution of experiments to evaluate product properties.
- Utilize available tools and systems to ensure efficient workflows.
- Perform measurements of relevant physical and chemical characteristics.
- Work collaboratively with Technical Leaders to support finished lubricant customer technical support investigations.
- Follow established safety guidelines and maintain a clean, compliant work environment.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and procedures meet quality standards.
Skills and Qualifications
- Possess a BS degree in chemistry or related field or Laboratory Technical Diploma.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow proper lab procedures.
- Good communication skills for understanding and describing scientific observation.
- Ability to quickly learn new tasks and integrate them into workflows.
- Organized, punctual, and takes full responsibility for laboratory procedural compliance and safe laboratory operations including equipment maintenance, chemical and supply ordering, chemical inventory, safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals.
- Effective in a team working environment, enjoys challenges, and committed to lifelong learning.
- Understanding of Lubricant Products, Lubricant Testing and/or Lubricant Applications.
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment troubleshooting techniques.
