Our client, an industry leader in innovative energy solutions, is seeking a Data Engineer - Expert Level to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, adaptability, and excellent collaboration skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Data Engineer - Expert Level (Palantir Ontology)
Location: Spring, TX
Pay Range: Market
Responsibilities- Build and implement data layers using the Palantir Foundry platform.
- Convert existing data models into Palantir Ontology representations to optimize data organization.
- Design and set up data ingestion and export relationships, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Develop validations and data transformations leveraging Foundry platform capabilities.
- Serve as a knowledge resource on Palantir tools providing guidance and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, quantitative sciences, or mathematics, or significant practical software project experience.
- Multiple years of experience in building data-heavy applications and working as a data engineer.
- Proficiency in building applications in Palantir Foundry, especially with data modeling and Ontology Manager tool.
- Experience with Python for data processing and transformation tasks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand software architectures and data designs.
