Project Controls Lead

Overview

Our client, a leading organization in the engineering and project management industry, is seeking a Project Controls Lead to join their team. As a Project Controls Lead, you will be part of the project management department supporting project teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Project Controls Lead

Location: Onsite in Spring, Texas

Pay Range: Market

• Implement overall project controls direction through application of systems and methods for estimate development, cost control, progress measurement, schedule development/control, and management of change.
• Provide timely and accurate data and deliverables to support benchmarking and tool building.
• Lead project cost, schedule, progress measurement, and change management efforts, offering expertise and strategic guidance.
• Support project teams with cost and schedule analysis, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
• Coordinate development and maintenance of project control systems, including the Cost Breakdown Structure, Control Budget, and Project Master Schedule.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
• 6-10 years of experience in project controls with a focus on cost and schedule control achievements.
• Supervisory experience in managing project control teams.
• Certification(s) in project management disciplines such as Primavera, PMI, or AACE preferred.
• Willingness to work onsite in Spring, Texas, and relocate if necessary.
