What role you will play in our team

As a Senior Hydrocarbon Fluids Account Manager, you will drive profitable growth by expanding Exxon Mobil’s market presence, strengthening strategic customer and distributor relationships, and delivering technically informed, application-focused solutions. You will manage a diverse portfolio through strategic account planning, technical consultation, and collaborative engagement, ensuring customers receive optimized product recommendations and differentiated value that reinforces the Exxon Mobil brand.

You will also represent Sales in cross-functional initiatives, aligning closely with marketing, supply chain, customer service, product stewardship, and technical teams to ensure exceptional customer experience. In addition, you will analyze market and competitive trends to inform commercial strategy, identify new growth opportunities, and support team development by mentoring junior sales representatives and contributing to a high-performance sales culture.

What you will do
  • Develop deep, strategic relationships with key customers and distributors, serving as trusted advisors and aligning their needs with Exxon Mobil’s products and solutions
  • Conduct sales calls to build relationships, prospect for new customers, and advance opportunities in line with business growth objectives
  • Influence and engage with strategic customer portfolios; lead complex commercial negotiations within organizational guidelines
  • Create new market demand and business opportunities; manage a robust growth pipeline from identification through commercialization using CRM tools
  • Establish and execute strategic account plans for key customers; manage contracts and assess the impact of market fluctuations on agreements
