What

role you will play in our team

We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven ability to engage the Tier One suppliers of composite parts to the US automotive industry. Working as part of Exxon Mobil’s New Market Development (NMD) global team you will be responsible for leading the development of composite parts made from our new Proxxima™ thermoset resin. Proxxima™ resin has unique characteristics and RTM parts with both GF and CF reinforcement can be made at high volume with strong economic value.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural composite parts with a proven track record in developing business from ideation through to commercial sales in the automotive sector.

Market Analysis
  • Evaluate the Americas value chain for automotive structural parts made from composite materials.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and determine optimum value proposition for Proxxima™ resin.
  • Engage the leading Tier One producers in USA/Canada/Mexico to grow sales.
Opportunity Development
  • Create program opportunities and coordinate the program management through all stages from inception to commercialization.
  • Share opportunities and program experiences with colleagues working in other regions of the world.
About You Minimum Skills & Qualification
  • 5+ years in automotive composites
  • Track record of delivering sales volumes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced dynamic team, to learn and adapt approach.
  • Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to manage meetings with both technical and commercial agenda topics.
Preferred

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience promoting composites to the automotive value chain.
  • Familiarity with composites made by SMC, RTM and/or Filament Winding
