Exxon Mobil’s state‑of‑the‑art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors. This position is in support of the Environmental & Property Solutions (E&PS) customer. This customer is actively pursuing a digital strategy that includes next generation smart buildings, way finding, space utilization, sociometrics, and many more new technologies on the market, as well as in‑house custom‑designed applications. The candidate will be responsible for interacting with customers on Houston Campus as well as global managers regarding their applications and how we can improve their experience.

This is a crucial role supporting Houston Campus building management systems on E&PS IT and it plays a critical role for the app support team. The role demands extensive experience and knowledge in the areas of IT/OT, and even the sub‑domain of SCADA, coupled with deep IT knowledge and including some architectural support, and design expertise. Qualified candidates should have a background in computer engineering, networking, and full‑stack development.

In addition to customer management, the candidate will also work on a team of experienced analysts & developers, designing and developing applications that will be used not only by E&PS, but global customers throughout the corporation.

Key duties of IT/OT engineer and Full‑stack Application Developer:

• Perform analysis of business requirements and work alongside team to develop technical solutions, per requirements.
• Create and support multi‑device solutions that include a front‑end GUI, back‑end logic, APIs, workflows, database interactions, etc.
• Create and support automated solutions for manual processes (e.g., automate an approval workflow to take equipment offline for maintenance).
• Troubleshooting and resolving application & integration break/fix issues.
• Build and support cross‑system integrations (ADF, SSIS package, API, scripting).
