Successful applicants will be employees of Raise Limited, working at Exxon Mobil facilities with both Exxon Mobil employees and other contractors.
The Senior Cost/Schedule/Controls Engineer will perform or coordinate effort for cost estimate preparation, estimating oversight and quality assurance reviews for Company operated and Other Builder Operator estimates for all Gate and Funding milestones. The Senior Cost/Schedule/Controls Engineer will also prepare Check Estimates and Schedules to compare with Operated by Others (OBO) Operator-prepared submittals. Also this person will participate in estimate / Schedule assessments (verification of project cost & schedule bases).
Lastly, they are expected to participate in Estimating Group process efficiency tools and quality assurance review process improvements.
- Work with project estimator, planner and scheduler and Client’s accounting staff
- Coordinate and assemble the monthly progress reports
- Work closely with client’s project manager and team leads for regulated and non-regulated accounting reporting requirements
- Competent estimator in Aspen Tech that can develop an estimate on their own with little oversight
- Experience in the project development space not just execution; needs ability to build estimates in the early phases pre-full funding and in the conceptual stage
- Experience working for an owner or in the owner space (not just EPC experience there isn’t owners cost associated)
- Good communication skills and able to explain and document work
- Ability to learn quickly our in-house estimating tool (similar to Aspen Tech)
