What role you will play in our team
  • Providing reservoir engineering technical expertise to Unconventional Oil & Gas development. Work with multi‑discipline teams to support optimal asset development, reservoir management, and site screening
  • Leveraging fundamental reservoir engineering and reservoir simulation skills in development planning, enhanced oil recovery, opportunity generation, and production/injection optimization
  • The position is located at Exxon Mobil campus in Spring, Texas
What you will do
  • Perform reservoir modeling and simulation to support unconventional developments
  • Conduct reservoir depletion planning and field development planning
  • Identify production or injection optimization opportunities
  • Plan, evaluate and/or execute appraisal and pilot programs
  • Identify key reservoir uncertainties and provide recommendations to mitigate risks
  • Improve reservoir description through fluid analysis, core evaluation, well testing interpretation, and production performance analysis
About you

Skills and Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (PhD) in Engineering preferred – preferably Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical;
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in Reservoir Engineering
  • Experience evaluating Enhanced Oil Recovery methods
  • Self‑motivated, focused on achieving business results while working in a multi‑disciplinary team in a fast‑paced business environment; demonstrated teamwork and strong communication skills are essential
  • Previous experience in reservoir analytical performance prediction, asset development and depletion planning, reservoir surveillance & optimization, volumes forecasting, economic analysis and data management
