Exxon Mobil is seeking both contractors and full‑time employees across various roles to provide reservoir engineering technical expertise to Unconventional Oil & Gas development. Work with multi‑discipline teams to support optimal asset development, reservoir management, and site screening.

The position is located at Exxon Mobil campus in Spring, Texas.

What You Will Do
  • Perform reservoir modeling and simulation to support unconventional developments.
  • Conduct reservoir depletion planning and field development planning.
  • Identify production or injection optimization opportunities.
  • Plan, evaluate and execute appraisal and pilot programs.
  • Identify key reservoir uncertainties and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.
  • Improve reservoir description through fluid analysis, core evaluation, well testing interpretation, and production performance analysis.
About You
  • Advanced degree (PhD) in Engineering preferred – preferably Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical.
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in Reservoir Engineering.
  • Experience evaluating Enhanced Oil Recovery methods.
  • Self‑motivated and focused on achieving business results while working in a multi‑disciplinary team in a fast‑paced business environment. Demonstrated teamwork and strong communication skills are essential.
  • Previous experience in reservoir analytical performance prediction, asset development and depletion planning, reservoir surveillance & optimization, volume forecasting, economic analysis and data management.

  • Reservoir Simulation experience.
  • Fluid sampling and analysis.
  • Enhanced Oil Recovery.
  • Core Analysis.
  • Petrophysics.
