The campus is located in Spring, Texas, on 385 wooded acres immediately to the west of Interstate Highway 45 (I-45), at the intersection of I-45 and the Hardy Toll Road, approximately 25 miles from the cultural vibrancy of downtown Houston. The campus was constructed to the highest standards of energy efficiency and environmental stewardship. Its design incorporates extensive research into best practices in building and workplace design through extensive benchmarking of the world's top academic, research, and corporate facilities.

Exxon Mobil is seeking both contractors and full-time employees across various roles to provide reservoir engineering technical expertise to Conventional Oil & Gas development. Work with multi-discipline teams to support optimal asset development, reservoir management, and site screening. Leverage fundamental reservoir engineering and reservoir simulation skills in reservoir characterization, development planning, opportunity generation, and production/injection optimization. The position is located at Exxon Mobil campus in Spring, Texas.

Performing reservoir modeling and simulation to support conventional and/or deepwater developments Conducting reservoir depletion planning and field development planning Performing reserves assessments and identifying production or injection optimization opportunities Planning, evaluation and/or execution of appraisal and field development / drill well programs Identifying key reservoir uncertainties and providing recommendations to mitigate risks Improving reservoir description through fluid analysis, core evaluation, well testing interpretation, and production performance analysis

Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering required - preferably Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical;
Advanced Degrees (Master's / PhD) also welcome Minimum of 8 and maximum of 20 years of industry experience in Conventional Reservoir Engineering Reservoir simulation experience in new developments and/or producing assets (including constructing, updating and history matching models) INTERSECT / Eclipse Reservoir Simulation experience Candidates should be self-motivated and focused on achieving business results while working in a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced business environment.

Demonstrated teamwork and strong communication skills are essential Previous experience in reservoir analytical performance prediction, asset development and depletion planning, reserves assessment, reservoir surveillance & optimization, volumes forecasting, economic analysis and data management

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience Pressure Transient Testing Fluid sampling and analysis Enhanced Oil Recovery Core Analysis Petrophysics
