Position SummaryInvocon is seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands‑on environment, enjoys tackling complex technical problems, and wants to contribute to the full product lifecycle—from concept and design through testing, integration, and deployment.
Primary Responsibilities- Design, develop, and test analog and digital circuits for sensing, telemetry, and embedded systems
- Create schematics, PCB layouts, and documentation for new and existing designs
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to develop integrated solutions
- Participate in requirements development, design reviews, and verification activities
- Perform board bring‑up, troubleshooting, and validation using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)
- Support manufacturing and production teams with test procedures and design improvements
- Contribute to innovation by researching new technologies and proposing creative solutions
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience (or strong academic/project background for entry‑level candidates)
- Proficiency in analog/digital circuit design and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, KiCad)
- Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and low‑power design
- Experience with lab testing, troubleshooting, and instrumentation
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical teams
- Ability to work proactively in a collaborative, small‑team environment
- Experience with RF design, wireless systems, or high‑reliability electronics
- Knowledge of aerospace or defense hardware development standards
- Embedded firmware familiarity (C/C++)
- Experience with environmental or qualification testing
