Job Title:
Senior Risk and Loss Prevention Engineer / Specialist

  • Location: Spring, TX 77389 (Onsite)
  • Pay Range $135 to 150 per Hour

Note:

Successful applicants will be employees of Raise Limited, working at Exxon Mobil facilities with both Exxon Mobil employees and other contractors.

Responsibilities
  • Works with Project Team to coordinate timely completion of studies and assessments
  • Supports Advisor and Project Teams in coordination with EPCs for contractor led/facilitated assessments
  • Develops/Reviews study charters, carries out reviews and prepares reports
  • Follows up with action owners to progress Action Resolution Plan development and endorsement. Stewards and progresses action items to resolution
  • As needed, facilitates Company led studies/assessments
  • Review designs for new projects and upgrade of existing facilities for compliance with company and industry safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Offshore experience, particularly in the subsea area
  • Experience working with Exxon Mobil
  • Able to carry out consequence modelling (using DNV PHAST)
  • Environmental, Health and Safety experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering within discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
  • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications
