Note:
Successful applicants will be employees of Raise Limited, working at Exxon Mobil facilities with both Exxon Mobil employees and other contractors.
Supports integrated subsurface evaluation across exploration, appraisal, and development activities. Works with multidisciplinary teams to deliver geological, petrophysical, and geophysical insights that support safe, efficient, and value-driven decisions.
Tasks and Responsibilities- Interpret subsurface data (well logs, core, and seismic) to characterize reservoirs and identify opportunities
- Perform and support petrophysical and formation evaluation analyses (e.g., porosity, saturation, net pay)
- Contribute to geological models, reservoir characterization, and prospect generation
- Support well planning and data acquisition strategies, including logging and coring programs
- Provide subsurface input during drilling operations, including data QC and integration
- Collaborate with geoscience, reservoir, and drilling teams to support field development and exploration efforts
- Present technical findings to internal stakeholders and support decision-making
- Degree in Geology, Geoscience, or related discipline (advanced degree preferred)
- Experience in oil & gas geoscience (exploration and/or development)
- Strong geological interpretation and reservoir characterization skills
- Working knowledge of petrophysics and seismic interpretation
- Proficiency with industry-standard software (e.g., Petrel)
- Understanding of petroleum systems and basin geology
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
