What role you will play in our team
We are looking for experienced engineers/scientists to develop subsurface/wells-related technology solutions for Unconventional Oil and Gas assets. The position will require the selected individual to be working in a dynamic environment with integrated multi-disciplinary teams including geoscientists, reservoir engineers, and operations engineers to support a range of subsurface/wells-related technology development. The position will be located in Spring, TX.
What you will do- Assess completion designs and prepare workflows to guide operations and field development.
- Develop new tools and technologies for subsurface/wells-related applications for Unconventional assets.
We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills who can work with multi-functional teams and has the following qualifications:
Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical), Applied and Computational Mathematics, Applied Physics, or Chemistry
- 3+ years of working experience in one of the following areas:
- Lab experimental design (sand transport and/or geomechanics testing)
- Particle transport and fluid modeling
- Design and execution of field-scale pilots
- Technology development focused on Completion tools/design
- Completions field experience
- Working integrated projects with cross functional disciplines (Reservoir, Geomechanics, Petrophysics, Completions etc)
Preferred Qualifications /
Experience:
- 5+ years of post‑graduate/non‑university industry experience in Upstream O&G working focused on technology development for subsurface/wells-related applications.
- Strong analytical and communication skills
