What You Will Do

At our company, your internship is an opportunity for impact and personal growth, powered by our global scale and inspired by a high-performing team. As an intern or co-op student, you'll have opportunities to contribute to meaningful work from day one—gaining hands-on technical experience while building skills that will serve you throughout your career.

You'll work with in one of our organizations for the duration of your internship, contributing to projects that drive real results and add value to the business. Your assignments could include mechanical integrity, process engineering, process control, product development, project management, quality control, modeling and optimization, reservoir engineering, supply chain, and more—depending on your placement and business needs. You'll also gain exposure to the day-to-day work of full-time engineers and scientists, giving you a true sense of what a career at Exxon Mobil looks like.

Beyond your project work, you'll have the chance to tour facilities, learn from senior leaders, and connect with experienced professionals across the organization. We also host social events that give you the chance to build relationships with your cohort, recent graduates, and leaders across Exxon Mobil.

Our goal is for every intern to leave Exxon Mobil feeling valued, having gained meaningful experiences, professional growth, and lasting skills that support future success.
