Note:
Successful applicants will be employees of Raise Limited, working at Exxon Mobil facilities with both Exxon Mobil employees and other contractors.
Responsibilities:
- Support active US Gulf of America platform decommissioning and P&A programs utilizing lift boats, jackups, and other wellbore intervention techniques
- Flex to provide US Land drilling program support in both the unconventional and conventional spaces as required
- Lead and support active drilling, completion, and decommissioning programs in the US L48 and the US Gulf of America
- Conduct well research to inform drill well and abandonment design and contingency procedures
- Provide detailed drill well and P&A design in accordance with BSEE CFRs, state, and Exxon Mobil standards and requirements
- Deliver well specific APM / RPM procedures, weekly activity reports (WARs), and end of well reporting (EOR)
- Generate AFE’s on a per well basis based on scope of work and basis of design
- Routine performance tracking, cost reporting, and forecasts
- Support operations throughout execution, active focus on continuous improvement
- Analyze NPT events and tool failures
- Manage interfaces between drilling, project, production, and decommissioning project teams (maintenance & monitoring, safe out and platform removals)
Qualifications:
- Well Management and Decommissioning / P&A Experience; preferably in the US GoA or relevant offshore shallow water environment
- US Land experience is also a plus in the well management and decommissioning space
- Not looking for Deepwater experience in this role
- Unconventional drilling engineering experience – non Permian experience is a plus
- 5+ years of experience
- B.S. relevant engineering field
- Microsoft Suite, industry-standard well design software (e.g., Landmark), and third-party well databases (e.g., Enverus)
