We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation, Controls Engineer to join the America EOR engineering organization. The position will be situated in the Exxon Mobil Campus in Spring, Texas from where travels to EOR operating site will occur when required. The role will be focused on Instrumentation & Controls engineering support for America EOR operating field assets

• Spec out instrumentation and control systems, selecting appropriate instruments, sensors or control devices in compliance with relevant engineering standards
• Oversee the installation and setup of I&C equipment and systems, ensuring they function correctly and meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Participates in area Risk Assessment, HAZOP's, Hazard Hunts, Critical Operating Parameter Reviews.
• SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment):
  Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures to protect personnel, equipment, and the environment.
• Participate in incident investigations.
• Support Opportunity management-identification of opportunities and development of scope of work for projects.
• Ensure that instrumentation and control systems adhere to safety and environmental regulations to prevent accidents and minimize environmental impact.
• Conduct continuous surveillance, analysis and bad actor management of instrument and control systems to enable sustained leading safety and reliability outcomes for the America EOR I&C equipment fleet.
• Collect and analyze data from instrumentation to optimize processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Recommend and implement upgrades to instrumentation, electrical and/or control systems to keep them up to date with industry standards and technology.
• Provide technical support for effective change management for changes, repairs, alterations and upgrades to instrumentation & control equipment
• Provide brownfield upgrade/greenfield projects and shutdown engineering support. Preparation / review of IC&E engineering deliverables (one-line diagrams, Cause & Effect diagrams, Controls Narrative, wiring diagrams, installation details, instrument index, cable schedule, etc) performed both internally and by Contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
