Manager Pricing II – Servers
This position is an onsite role based primarily at an HPE office. It focuses on partnering with the Compute businesses to ensure pricing strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to deliver market‑competitive winning prices.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute pricing strategies for products and solutions from new product introduction through end of life based on product value add, financial metrics and customer willingness to pay.
- Create insights on competitive pricing strategies and positioning to drive a winning strategy in the marketplace.
- Define and lead a regular governance cadence to review market indicators, results delivered and progress toward performance metrics.
- Drive consistent pricing approval and empowerment guidelines across global business units and geographies to achieve financial targets.
- Work effectively in an environment with both direct and dotted‑line employee reporting relationships across multiple geographic locations.
- Ensure that financial strategies and initiatives within the area of accountability are integrated with corporate and business strategies.
- Bachelor's degree, technical or advanced university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Master’s or Ph.D. strongly preferred.
- Typically 7+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or related field.
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills to effectively resolve problems.
- End‑to‑end pricing and process knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
- Fluency in English and local language; other languages a plus.
- Ability to measure and manage team performance.
- Strong financial and business acumen; general industry knowledge.
- Leadership and supervisory skills, including goal setting, conflict resolution, performance management, budget planning, problem solving, evaluation, and employee engagement.
