Personal Banker – Full Time, Spring, Texas

Immediate start. Responsible for opening and closing accounts, renewing time deposit accounts, maintaining client inquiries and resolving issues. Collaborates with team leaders to train lobby staff and cross‑sell bank products. Basic knowledge of deposits and consumer loans required.

• Open, close, and maintain checking, savings, time deposit, IRA, savings bond, credit card, and basic consumer loan accounts.
• Provide account information and resolve client questions by listening, gathering data, and delivering solutions.
• Profile clients to identify sales opportunities and use lead lists to generate business.
• Maintain client privacy and the bank’s professional reputation.
• Assist area personnel and keep management informed of activities.
• Complete required reports, records, and logs accurately.
• Attend meetings, training, and special projects, including annual year‑end reporting.
• Support Treasury Management with new accounts and related services.
• Actively sell bank products and achieve sales production goals.
• Maintain clean, secure work areas.

• High‑school graduate or equivalent.
• 0–3 years of new‑account or banking experience.
• Completion of Personal Banker Mentor Program or Learning Plan.
• Knowledge of consumer checking, savings, commercial accounts, debit cards, open‑checking, and loan products.
• Ability to complete teller and back‑office training modules (e.g., BPM I–IV, Docu Sign, Wire Transfers).
• Excellent communication, public‑relations, and math skills.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Computer proficiency, including 10‑key and telephone use.

• Efficient, accurate completion of financial service functions.
• Courteous resolution of client issues.
• Good coordination with area personnel and management.
• Accurate, timely reporting and recordkeeping.
• Consistent pursuit of client relationships and sales goals.
• Maintenance of the bank’s professional reputation.

• Predominantly sedentary; occasional lifting up to 10 lbs.
• Requires clear verbal communication, typing, and small‑hand motions.
• Basic mathematics and comprehension skills for financial calculations.
• Able to write and communicate complex sentences with proper grammar.
