An opportunity exists for a dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students in a K-12 educational environment located in Spring, TX. This full-time position is set for the  school year and comes with a commitment to guaranteed hours, ensuring stability and consistency in your professional role.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in a related field
• Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators and other health professionals
• Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and their treatment
• Proficiency in implementing therapy plans under the direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist

• Assist in the delivery of speech and language therapy services as directed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress
• Support students in developing communication skills through engaging activities
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a supportive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
