Surgery Center of Boerne, located just north of San Antonio, is hiring a GI Technician to support outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology, General, and Orthopedics. The position requires weekdays only, with no holidays, weekends, or on‑call duties. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; the schedule is subject to change based on surgical flow.

The GI Technician/Endoscopy technician works under direct supervision of a surgeon to operate technical equipment during both simple and complex endoscopic procedures. The technician collaborates with physicians and nurses to create ideal conditions for positive patient outcomes, and is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining endoscopes and other instruments. Additional duties include managing patient flow, preparing the room for procedures, stocking supplies, ordering materials, and handling various clerical tasks.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GI lab
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center or surgical hospital preferred
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred
