We are seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at a freestanding emergency room in Spring, TX. The role supports clinical and administrative operations during the daytime hours, ensuring efficient patient flow and quality patient care.

• Verify patient insurance information accurately and efficiently.
• Collect and process laboratory specimens as directed by clinical staff.
• Perform reception duties, including patient check‑in and check‑out.
• Assist clinical staff with patient care and preparation as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure proper documentation and data entry into electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Coordinate communication between patients, clinical staff, and insurance providers.
• Support the emergency room team to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow during shift hours.

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
• Previous experience in a freestanding emergency room or urgent care setting highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of insurance verification processes and laboratory procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team during daytime shift hours.

Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
