Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room | Spring, TX

Pride Health is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support our client’s Ambulatory Surgery Center in Spring, TX. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑specialty surgical environment alongside experienced surgeons and OR teams.

  • Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM CST
  • Interview Process:

  • Pay: $25 to $31/hr on W2
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room, surgical instruments, supplies, and sterile field before procedures.
  • Scrub in and assist surgeons during a variety of surgical procedures.
  • Anticipate the surgeon’s needs by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Perform instrument counts before, during, and after procedures.
  • Assist with room turnover between surgical cases.
  • Clean, decontaminate, and prepare surgical instruments for sterilization.
  • Collaborate with Registered Nurses and the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
  • Support procedures across multiple specialties, including:
    General Surgery, Gynecology, ENT, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Total Joint Surgery, Robotic Surgery
  • Assist with the orientation and training of new Surgical Technologists.
  • Provide care for patients across all age groups, including infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of Surgical Technologist experience.
  • Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and operating room procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) or hospital operating room.
  • Experience supporting multiple surgical specialties.
  • Strong flexibility, adaptability, and positive attitude.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
