Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: In facility
Reporting structure: Reports to Director of Rehab
As an Occupational Therapist, you help patients get well. You assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy.
You are a healer, a helper, and a teacher who trains patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity. You design programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence, adapting to each patient’s needs.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized occupational therapy plans.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to patients’ goals.
- Educate patients and caregivers on skills needed for independence.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and refer patients as needed.
- Document treatment sessions and progress in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE.
- Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license in the state of practice.
USD 58.00 per hour.
