Job Summary

Fusion Medical Staffing‑Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Spring, Texas. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive clinical team.

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Physical Abilities – must be able to remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Interpersonal Skills – must work effectively with a variety of personnel and present a positive attitude and professionalism
• Technical/Motor Skills – must grasp, perform fine manipulation and use department equipment
• Mental Requirements – must cope with frequent contact with the public, meet deadlines under pressure, work with or without supervision, and maintain concentration to detail
• Sensory Requirements – must possess visual acuity and be able to communicate effectively

• Doctorate degree in physical therapy
• Physical Therapy experience (new graduates welcome)
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

• Evaluate patients’ conditions with standardized tests, examinations, and history to determine functional limitations and treatment needs
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
• Implement treatment plans using techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Operate specialized equipment and modalities safely, ensuring maintenance and calibration
• Assess progress, adjust plans, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals for coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management techniques
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards
• Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities
• Participate in discharge planning for smooth transitions to community or home settings
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
