- Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Physical Abilities – must be able to remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Interpersonal Skills – must work effectively with a variety of personnel and present a positive attitude and professionalism
- Technical/Motor Skills – must grasp, perform fine manipulation and use department equipment
- Mental Requirements – must cope with frequent contact with the public, meet deadlines under pressure, work with or without supervision, and maintain concentration to detail
- Sensory Requirements – must possess visual acuity and be able to communicate effectively
- Doctorate degree in physical therapy
- Physical Therapy experience (new graduates welcome)
- Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
- Evaluate patients’ conditions with standardized tests, examinations, and history to determine functional limitations and treatment needs
- Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
- Implement treatment plans using techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain
- Operate specialized equipment and modalities safely, ensuring maintenance and calibration
- Assess progress, adjust plans, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals for coordinated care
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management techniques
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards
- Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities
- Participate in discharge planning for smooth transitions to community or home settings
- Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication
- English language proficiency for reading, writing, and speaking
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions; PC skills
- Physical abilities – stationary work, moving equipment (50‑100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
- Interpersonal skills – collaborate with diverse personnel, maintain professionalism
