At Sage Veterinary Imaging, we believe exceptional medicine begins with exceptional clinical leadership.
As Chief Veterinarian, you'll serve as the senior clinical leader for our Spring, Texas practice while providing clinical leadership for Practice Site Veterinarians across Sage Veterinary Imaging. In partnership with the Hospital Manager, you'll help advance excellence at the practice level while promoting consistent standards of care, quality, and professional development across the organization.
Working collaboratively with the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Medical Director – Radiology, Hospital Managers, board-certified radiologists, and some of the world’s premier cross-sectional and neurologic imaging specialists, you'll help shape clinical standards, mentor veterinarians and interns, lead quality improvement initiatives, and use clinical and operational insights to strengthen the delivery of specialty diagnostic imaging across one of North America’s premier specialty diagnostic imaging organizations.

At Sage Veterinary Imaging, you'll:
- Serve as the senior clinical leader for our Spring practice while helping advance medical quality across Sage Veterinary Imaging.
- Collaborate with board-certified radiologists and internationally renowned imaging specialists.
- Partner with the Chief Medical Director – Radiology to advance clinical quality, diagnostic consistency, and patient outcomes.
- Mentor veterinarians and interns while developing the next generation of clinical leaders.
- Use clinical and operational data to improve veterinarian performance, patient care, and service delivery.
- Establish clinical protocols, quality standards, and best practices that shape the future of the organization.
- Continue practicing advanced diagnostic medicine in a collaborative, referral-focused environment.
- Enjoy the flexibility of one remote workday per week following successful onboarding and demonstrated proficiency.
As the senior clinical leader for the Spring practice, you'll lead the medical direction of the hospital, ensuring exceptional patient care, clinical quality, and veterinarian development. You'll work closely with the Hospital Manager, who leads operational and administrative functions, to ensure medicine and operations remain aligned in support of an exceptional patient, client, and team experience.
You’ll:
- Lead the clinical direction of the Spring practice.
- Establish and uphold high standards of patient care, medical decision-making, and professional accountability.
- Provide clinical leadership for diagnostic imaging, anesthesia, patient management, and complex case coordination.
- Promote evidence-based medicine and consistent standards of care.
- Lead clinical discussions, case reviews, quality improvement activities, and continuing education.
- Mentor veterinarians and interns through coaching, feedback, and professional development.
- Partner with the Hospital Manager to improve clinical workflows, patient access, and service delivery.
- Support the implementation of new clinical services, technologies, and best practices.
- Strengthen referral confidence through outstanding medicine and professional collaboration.
Beyond the Spring practice, you’ll provide clinical leadership and support for Practice Site Veterinarians across Sage Veterinary Imaging, promoting consistency, collaboration, and clinical excellence throughout the organization.
You’ll:
- Promote consistent standards of care and evidence-based clinical practice.
- Develop and maintain clinical protocols, guidelines, and best practices.
