Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with all care needs a resident might require.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and fellow employee information.
  • Notify Resident Care Coordinator, Executive Director, RN, or Medication Aide of changes in a resident’s condition.
  • Assist in the dining room during meal times, including setting up, taking meal/beverage orders, serving, and bussing tables.
  • Assist with activities when required or be responsible for getting residents to scheduled activities.
  • Responsible for getting residents ready and to the lobby for scheduled appointments.
  • Be aware of what constitutes a change of condition and report immediately to Medication Aide, Resident Care Coordinator, or RN.
  • Take accurate vital signs and weigh residents.
  • Assist with in‑care needs of residents, which may include lifting requirements up to 40 pounds.
  • Keep current on First Aid/CPR as directed by the Resident Care Coordinator.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or any other management staff.
Qualifications and Other Requirements
  • High school graduate preferred.
  • Proficiency in English required.
  • Familiarity and willingness to work with the elderly population.
  • Previous experience preferred but not necessary – we are willing to train.
  • Attend and participate in scheduled mandatory in‑services and other scheduled meetings.
  • Maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
