Principal Business Compensation Analyst (Hybrid, Houston, TX) – Design, develop, and implement total rewards strategies aligned with HPE’s business and HR priorities. Consult with leaders to craft compensation solutions, analyze market data, model reward program changes, monitor legal requirements, and integrate compensation with related HR processes such as performance and talent management.
Responsibilities- Design and develop total rewards programs of the highest complexity.
- Identify areas for improvement in total rewards strategies and contribute to strategy development.
- Communicate with senior managers to deliver guidance for compensation and benefits programs.
- Manage compensation and benefits projects impacting employees across multiple countries, regions, or businesses.
- Account for impact analysis of initiatives and financial/legal outcomes of programs.
- Manage benefit delivery, partnering with vendors and selecting providers.
- Contribute to integration strategy for MADO transactions.
- Lead multiple programs simultaneously.
- Develop relationships with industry professionals to maintain current market trends knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 10+ years related experience in compensation, benefits, finance, and/or human resources.
- Experience serving as a trusted compensation consultant to senior business and HR leaders.
- Proven ability to independently lead complex, cross‑functional compensation initiatives and projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of total rewards systems and other HR functions.
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory environment related to employee compensation and benefits, including emerging legislation.
- Superior communication, leadership, consulting, influence, and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional financial and business acumen.
- Excellent project management, problem‑solving, and analytical skills with the ability to execute projects within overall strategies.
- Meets licensing or certification requirements of the relevant country or region (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) in the U.S.).

SalaryAnnual base salary: USD 105,500 – 243,000 (Texas). Variable incentives may also be offered.
