Overview

Principal Business Compensation Analyst. This role is designed as 'Hybrid' with an average of 2 days per week from an HPE office. Open to candidates near an HPE office, preferably in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, develop, analyze, communicate, and implement Total Rewards strategies and programs aligned to HPE’s business and HR priorities.
  • Consult with business and HR leaders to develop compensation solutions; analyze internal and external market data; model changes to reward programs; monitor legal and regulatory requirements; and integrate compensation programs with related HR processes such as performance and talent management.
  • Apply total rewards subject matter expertise in multiple areas of specialization to design and develop total rewards programs of the highest complexity.
  • Identify areas for improvement to total rewards strategies and contribute to the development of the total rewards strategy.
  • Communicate with senior managers to deliver guidance and desired results for compensation and benefits programs.
  • Manage compensation and benefits projects that impact employees in multiple countries, regions, or businesses.
  • Be accountable for impact analysis of compensation and benefits initiatives and the financial and legal outcomes of programs.
  • May manage benefits delivery including partnering with vendors and selecting providers.
  • May contribute to the integration strategy for M&A transactions.
  • Lead multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Develop relationships with total rewards industry professionals and/or organizations to maintain current market trends knowledge for internal use.
Education and Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 10+ years related experience in compensation, benefits, finance, and/or human resources.
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a trusted compensation consultant to senior business and HR leaders.
  • Proven ability to independently lead complex, cross-functional compensation initiatives and projects.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Complete systematic understanding of total rewards systems, as well as other HR functions.
  • Advanced knowledge of the regulatory environment as it relates to employee compensation and benefits, including emerging legislation.
  • Superior communication, leadership, consulting, influence, and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional financial and business acumen.
  • Excellent project management, problem solving, and analytical skills, and the ability to execute a project within the scope of overall strategies.
  • Meets the licensing or certification requirements of the relevant country or region (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) in the US).

Salary and Benefits

The expected salary/wage range is provided below and the actual offer may vary by location, experience, education, and skill level. United States:
Annual salary USD 105, in Texas. The listed salary reflects base salary; variable incentives may also be offered.
