Job Description:
About the roleHPE’s HR Talent Center of Excellence (CoE) is seeking an intern to support global Performance Management programs that help team members and people leaders set meaningful Bold Goals, participate in Mid-Year and annual performance activities, exchange feedback and coaching, and transform performance practices. Working with guidance from the Performance Management team, the intern will apply academic knowledge through research, analysis, project coordination, communications, reporting, digital enablement, and process documentation.
The internship provides practical exposure to HPE’s global performance lifecycle, HPE Culture, Workday-enabled processes, and continuous-improvement practices. HPE’s FY27 priorities include stable and understandable processes, a globally consistent approach with appropriate local flexibility, greater AI enablement, and improved overall experience for managing performance.
- Support project plans, trackers, milestones, meeting agendas, notes, action items, risks, and dependencies for Performance Management initiatives.
- Conduct research, organize findings, and help document processes, requirements, decisions, and improvement opportunities.
- Draft or update communications, presentations, guides, FAQs, knowledge content, and learning materials for team members, people leaders, and HR audiences.
- Support basic data analysis and reporting by organizing and validating approved data, tracking completion or adoption measures, and preparing clear summaries or visual reports.
- Assist with Workday, digital, and AI-related initiatives through test-case documentation, user acceptance testing, issue tracking, feedback collection, and resource updates.
- Coordinate stakeholder reviews, meetings, learning sessions, and other enablement activities across global teams.
- Handle information responsibly and follow HPE confidentiality, privacy, security, and data-handling requirements.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited institution, subject to applicable HPE university-program and hiring-location requirements.
- Ability to organize work, maintain accurate documentation, and manage commitments and deadlines.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and in meetings.
- Ability to analyze information, identify patterns, and summarize findings.
- Ability to collaborate with people from different teams, functions, and locations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Interest in learning about Human Resources, Performance Management, digital tools, and global business processes.
- Coursework or project experience in Human Resources, business, organizational psychology, communications, data analytics, project management, information systems, or a related non-technical field.
