Help Desk Technician

Overview

LGI Homes is seeking a Help Desk Technician at our Corporate Headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer, network, and peripheral problems for LGI Homes. This role will be a critical resource for all LGI Homes employees, nationwide, resolving tickets in a prompt and courteous manner. This role will use diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot and report issue and repairs through the Helpdesk system.
• Support security by ensuring all potential threats detected by scans are remedied and documented, configure Active Directory accounts, and maintain and manage inventory of IT equipment.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is required, and one year of experience in Desktop Support is highly preferred. CompTIA A+ certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of ticketing systems and the ability to write clear and thorough technical documentation. Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  365, configuration and support of Microsoft Windows 10, desktop/laptop, software and hardware and ITIL is a plus.
