ResponsibilitiesThe Well Construction and Operations (WCO) capability team in UIT delivers solutions for the Wells business including well planning, design, and operations. Work involves requirements gathering, execution and deployment of new functionality while providing operational support, troubleshooting, testing, enhancements, bug fixes, application renewals, and addressing technical debt for existing solutions. The primary application being supported is Well View. The successful candidate will have the skills to communicate with business and vendor representatives, support technical applications, and be familiar with multiple tools and processes in EMIT to support effectively, including software packaging.
RequiredSkills
- Foundational knowledge of the Well View application and its associated data model and database
- Foundational knowledge of administrative functions of the Well View application including
- UDL and Picklist Management
- Data Loaders
- Queries
- Profiles and Profile Management including Access Management
- Batch reports single and multi reports ability to develop new reports troubleshoot issues and improve reports
- Basic technical troubleshooting and resolution of end user application and underlying server and database resources
- Audit rule management and ability to develop new data audits using tools like Spotlight, WLR, Peloton, Allez auditor
- SQL and T-SQL knowledge for query writing and data management including
- Data analysis
- Mass data updates
- Data recovery after accidental deletion
- Di vestments and acquisitions data handover
- Microsoft Azure knowledge aligned with Dev Ops including
- Infrastructure as a service such as servers, databases, and Azure resources
- Monitoring capabilities
- Deployment pipelines to promote changes between environments
- Troubleshooting infrastructure including virtual machines, restarting services, and debugging errors
