IT Project Manager, Systems Engineer
Job Summary
This role is responsible for leading multiple project teams and managing activities of supporting teams and internal development partners, while overseeing the logistics of parts for builds and prototypes. The role applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues, leverages it to drive innovation and technology integration, manages project activities, develops schedules, tracks progress against the project activities, drives best practices, and leads less‑experienced staff members.
Responsibilities- Acts as primary point of contact for all requests supporting Factory Services.
- Acts as the customer interface for all Factory Service requests, regularly communicating with customers and sales teams to ensure flawless execution.
- Manages strategic projects to allow for more efficient processes.
- Acts as team lead to develop experience and skillset in leadership activities, regularly reporting business results and strategic plans to Director/VP level leadership.
- Manages and leads a program involving multiple functions and project teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for Factory Service offerings.
- Oversees logistics of parts for builds and prototypes, working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Develops and directs the development of schedules and critical deliverables for assigned customer requests.
- Manages activities of supporting project teams and internal development partners; ensures progress against the established plan and makes determinations based on analysis of business information to adjust schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.
- Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to product, processes, or business practices to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules.
- Follows up on open points/actions observed during customer requests; ensures they are conveyed as actionable items.
- Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the manufacturing and/or engineering organization.
- Drives best practices through documentation control policies and procedures.
- Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to less‑experienced staff members.
- Four‑year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically 7–10 years of work experience, preferably in engineering development and implementation, project planning tools and software applications, people management, or a related field.
The pay range for this role is $116,150 to $182,400 USD annually, with additional opportunities for bonus and/or equity compensation (applicable to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
