Jr. GRC​/Cybersecurity Analyst

We are currently seeking a Jr. GRC/Cybersecurity Analyst for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Spring, TX. Details for the position are as follows:

• Pay: $34/hr (W2)
• 4 ½ month assignment
• This is an entry-level position; recent graduates welcome!!!
• You will be supporting a cybersecurity compliance and GRC operations team focused on evaluating internal applications and business processes for compliance with cybersecurity policies and frameworks
• This role sits at the intersection of security policy, compliance, risk assessment, and IT operations
• Manage compliance assessments from intake through remediation/closure, coordinating with IT, app owners, auditors, and GRC teams
• Document evidence for audits, support exception and risk evaluations, and help operationalize security governance processes
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting on assessment inventory, aging, and closure status
• Ensure compliance evaluations are completed accurately and within required timelines while managing a high volume of requests

• Experience with IT security, GRC, compliance, IT operations, or related (internships or recent degree in lieu!)
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
• Experience evaluating application or security compliance against internal policies and standards
• Familiarity with GRC/ITSM tools such as Service Now, Archer, Jira, or One Trust
• Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel; Tableau/Power BI preferred)
