Job Overview
The IT Asset Manager will establish and lead the IT Asset Management (ITAM) function from the ground up. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing end‑to‑end asset lifecycle processes across hardware, software, and cloud assets, ensuring accurate tracking, compliance, and optimization. Acting as a strategic process owner, this individual will define asset management standards, drive adoption across global IT teams, and ensure adherence to governance, audit, and regulatory requirements (e.g., CMMC/NIST).
The role partners closely with IT, CMDB, and service management teams to align asset data, improve visibility, and support financial planning through lifecycle management and reporting.
- Establish and lead a scalable, compliant ITAM program across a global environment.
- Design, implement, and manage end‑to‑end asset lifecycle processes for hardware, software, and SaaS.
- Define asset management standards and drive adoption across multiple IT teams.
- Align asset data with CMDB and service management systems to improve visibility.
- Ensure compliance with governance, audit, and regulatory requirements such as CMMC/NIST.
- Provide lifecycle management and reporting to support financial planning.
- Influence and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- Proven ability to create and implement ITAM processes from scratch in a low‑maturity environment.
- Strong stakeholder influence and cross‑functional leadership capabilities.
- Deep understanding of asset tracking, data integrity, and lifecycle management for hardware, software, and SaaS.
- Experience with ITAM/ITSM tools, discovery, CMDB alignment, and reporting.
- Knowledge of ITIL change management concepts.
- Intermediate level professional experience.

Pay & BenefitsPay range: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour.
