SCADA Engineer (Ignition)

• Pay Rate: $75.00 - $85.00/hour on W2
• Contract Length: 12 months
• Location: Spring, TX 77389 (Onsite)

Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

• Under general supervision, the SCADA Engineer (Ignition) is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting SCADA systems.
• This role involves developing new facilities within Ignition, integrating industrial devices, ensuring system reliability, and troubleshooting communication, database, and configuration issues in a fast‑paced operational environment.

• Create and configure new facilities within the Ignition SCADA platform
• Collaborate with field technicians to test, validate, and troubleshoot new devices
• Work with support teams to ensure 24/7 availability and reliability of SCADA systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
  • Communications and connectivity
  • Device configurations
  • Tag definitions
  • SQL database/table entries
• Support integration of various automation controllers and industrial systems
• Partner with project teams, operations, and customers to deliver effective solutions

• Bachelor’s degree required (relevant experience may substitute for degree)
• Strong understanding of database structures and usage
• Experience working with industrial automation controllers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams
• Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn new technologies

• Ignition SCADA
• Industrial Protocols (Modbus, Allen‑Bradley, Emerson, MQTT, DNP3)
• SQL / Database Management
