Note:
Successful applicants will be employees of Raise Limited, working at Exxon Mobil facilities with both Exxon Mobil employees and other contractors.
Supports development and execution of enterprise-wide coverage strategies for processing aids and raw materials. Position will provide analytical horsepower, strategic insights and market intelligence to enable commercial optimization, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model builds, supply chain risk mitigation and long-term value creation across corporation (all business lines).
Responsibilities Commercial & Financial Insights- Support financial modeling and scenario planning to optimize strategy, project valuations and commercial negotiations and decisions.
- Leverage external benchmarks and internal data to identify cost-saving opportunities and agility in response to market shifts and disruptions
- Explore internal and third party data sources and consolidate key data
- Analyze internal spend, supplier performance, and market data to support coverage strategy development; build models to track value
- Monitor global supply markets, geopolitical trends, and supplier capabilities;
Develop risk profiles and opportunity assessments to inform strategic decisions - Engage with external partners, suppliers and data providers to synthesize insights
- Corporate Value Chains and their leadership
- Execution and Supply Chain support teams
- Central organizations – Procurement / EMTEC Research & Technology / Finance / Trading / etc.
- External – Industry partners, O&G companies, suppliers, market intelligence providers and industry partners
- BS in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or related quantitative / STEM discipline
- At least 2-3 years experience in an analysis role associated with petroleum, petrochemical, chemical, logistics, or similar industry sectors
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with high proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling and complex analysis (e.g., discounted cash flow, scenario analysis)
- Proven business analysis and modelling skills, with capability to manage multiple concurrent economic analysis projects
- Self-motivated and proactive individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence
- Ability to effectively translate data into insights, along with demonstrated ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas to stakeholders and senior executives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Technical proficiency in data modeling, data analysis, forecasting, and visualization tools (SAP, SQL, Power BI) would be an advantage
- Understanding of supply chain value levers through business line experiences would be an advantage
- B.S. degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry preferred;
Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Business Analytics or other STEM may be acceptable
