Senior Network Security Engineer - Juniper

Location: Spring, TX (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise network security solutions across hybrid and cloud environments. This role will focus on Juniper SRX firewalls, network segmentation, Zero Trust architecture, and enterprise security infrastructure.

• Design and implement network segmentation using Juniper SRX firewalls across data center, campus, and cloud environments.
• Lead Zero Trust initiatives by developing identity-based access controls and firewall segmentation strategies.
• Create and maintain security policies, firewall rules, and application-aware access controls.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams to secure enterprise environments.
• Design and support secure LAN/WAN, cloud, and hybrid network architectures.
• Manage SIEM, IDS/IPS, VPN, NAC, and other network security technologies.
• Support security audits, compliance initiatives, and continuous security improvements.

• 10+ years of enterprise network security engineering experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Juniper SRX firewalls; experience with Fortinet and Palo Alto is a plus.
• Experience implementing network segmentation and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA).
• Strong knowledge of firewall policies, security zones, NAT, routing, VPN, and threat prevention.
• Experience securing AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments.
• Strong networking knowledge including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, NAT, QoS, and IPv4/IPv

• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, SD-WAN, load balancing, and enterprise network security best practices.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE, CISSP, or CISM are preferred.
