Director, Enterprise AI Governance

• Provide strategic leadership to a team of managers and top contributors in engineering solutions, aligning with business goals and technology roadmaps
• Optimize processes for value, quality, and productivity while overseeing resource allocation and budgets
• Collaborate across functions, communicate status, influence decisions, and manage outsourced partnerships
• Champion process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives while ensuring adherence to standards and nurturing team growth
• Lead AI Digital strategy, portfolio prioritization, governance cadence, funding guardrails, executive reporting, and coordination across federated teams, steering committees, and delivery groups
• Own Git Hub Copilot caps, credits, user tier organizations, model and feature controls, access, alerts, exceptions, and automation
• Administer OpenAI/ChatGPT/Codex provisioning, support, credits, attribution, and cost controls
• Lead Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio licensing, agent governance, environments, knowledge-source controls, credit visibility, and administration
• Establish L1 ownership, cost center mapping, chargeback, allocation rules, budget thresholds, usage reporting, and Finance/Procurement operating reviews across AI products
• Operate the Digital AI Nerve Center for use case submission, qualification, security/privacy review, stage gates, prioritization, funding, delivery handoff, risk escalation, and benefits realization using Service Now workflows where applicable
• Manage Microsoft, OpenAI, Git Hub, AWS, Service Now, Deloitte, and other partners
• Coordinate AI SDLC work, hackathons, pilots, and adoption programs as one governed portfolio
• Build monthly dashboards covering adoption, spend, capacity, concentration, exceptions, risk, delivery status, and realized value

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence
• Typically has 12+ years of job-related and/or management experience, preferably in engineering design, engineering design tools and software packages, or a related field
• Progressive experience in AI strategy, governance, administration, platform operations, or technology portfolio management
• Experience with SaaS, cloud, developer, productivity, and generative AI platforms
• Experience with Fin Ops, licensing, budgeting, consumption management, and chargeback
• Strong experience with demand intake, stage gates, value tracking, security, privacy, responsible AI, risk, compliance, executive communication, vendor management, and enterprise transformation
• Preferred background in Git Hub Enterprise/Copilot, OpenAI Enterprise/ChatGPT/Codex, Microsoft 365 Copilot/Copilot Studio, Service Now demand management, AI Control Tower, AI SDLC, and executive dashboarding

Demonstrates expertise in AI Strategy, Governance, and Administration, with a strong focus on process optimization, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration. Proficient in managing technology portfolios, budgeting, and vendor relationships while ensuring compliance and risk management.
