Harris County ESD 11 is seeking an experienced Telecommunicator to handle emergency medical calls and dispatch EMS units. You will use MPDS, CAD, and radio systems to obtain essential information, provide pre-arrival instructions, and document details accurately.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year EMS dispatch experience, AEMD/CPR certification, and the ability to type 35 wpm. IC-100/200/700/800 within 6 months will be expected.
