We are a mid-sized business law firm in Spring, Texas, dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to businesses and entrepreneurs. Our firm specializes in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, contract negotiation, and other business-related legal matters. We are growing and seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our dynamic transactional team.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Associate Attorney to support our transactional team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate and business law, with a focus on transactional matters, including commercial real estate and business transactions. This role involves working closely with clients, senior attorneys, and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, purchase agreements, operating agreements, and other corporate documents.
  • Assist clients with business formations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and compliance matters.
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients on various business-related legal issues.
  • Participate in due diligence processes for business and real estate transactions.
  • Work collaboratively with the firm’s transactional team to support client needs and business objectives.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure timely and effective communication.
  • Participate in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
  • 2-5 years of experience in corporate law, commercial transactions, and real estate.
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent research and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interactions.
  • Prior experience in a business law firm setting.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in construction law or tax law is a plus.
