Immigration Attorney Position
We are looking for an immigration attorney to join a growing legal team in Spring, Texas. This role focuses on courtroom advocacy, case strategy, and direct client guidance across a broad range of immigration matters. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, clear communication skills, and the ability to manage active files with a high level of care and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Advocate for clients in Immigration Court proceedings, including preliminary hearings, merits hearings, bond matters, and removal-related appearances.
- Oversee affirmative immigration cases by developing strategy, preparing submissions, and guiding matters through agency review.
- Draft, assemble, and submit petitions, applications, motions, and supporting evidence with accuracy and attention to deadlines.
- Support immigration-related federal court matters, including habeas actions, when case needs require litigation involvement.
- Manage a varied caseload that may include asylum, adjustment of status, naturalization, family-based filings, waivers, and other humanitarian remedies.
- Prepare clients and witnesses for interviews and hearings by explaining procedures, reviewing testimony, and strengthening case readiness.
- Partner closely with paralegals and legal support staff to keep files organized and deliver responsive service to clients.
- Maintain regular communication with clients while tracking filing deadlines and advancing matters efficiently in a fast-paced practice.
