Overview
Project Manager This role is designed as onsite with an expectation to primarily work from an HPE office.
Responsibilities- Leads internal projects to meet scope, time, budget and quality expectations through planning, controlling and managing.
- Manages corporate and third-party vendor efforts to plan, build and implement solutions to internal problems and issues.
- Manages internal projects budget, typically involving very large/complex implementations across multiple regions or globally.
- Defines strategy to achieve the sponsor’s vision of an end-state transformation with high/very high risk.
- Manages project financials, budgets and provides reliable financial forecasts to management.
- Manages stakeholder relationships, including complex multi-function and global relationships with senior and executive stakeholders.
- Leads project teams and manages internal and external resources, with team sizes generally greater than 20 from multiple regions.
- Provides detailed performance review input and development recommendations; mentors others and supports individual development.
- First Level University degree. Advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years in project management roles or similar roles/businesses.
- In-depth knowledge of Services’ operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management.
- Extensive understanding of critical project management techniques.
- Recognized leader in the Services PM Profession community. PMP Certified.
- Contributions have major impact on the company’s business (Cost, Efficiency, TCE) typically $7–20M and/or internal project budgets over $5M.
- Often involves high levels of transformation (e.g., mergers, divestitures & acquisitions).
- Manages projects affecting more than three organizations or the enterprise; may supervise other project managers on large multi-function projects; projects may be global.
