- Provide leadership, policy definition and risk management to the Indirect Tax function for the United States and Canada
- Oversight of outsourced compliance, engagement management, full audit cycle, and post audit controversy resolution
- Planning and implementation of planning opportunities
- Identifying potential compliance issues and recommending solutions
- Communicating and consulting with senior management on strategic and tax-related issues
- Collaborating with senior business leaders to resolve highly complex tax issues
- Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of related experience in Indirect Tax in the US with exposure and experience with Canada
- 2+ years of previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Content expert in the field of tax matters
- Exceptional financial and business acumen; in-depth business and industry knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment as it relates to federal and state income tax transactions
- Excellent project management and process development skills
